An arrest affidavit stated that Wallen was up on the roof bar Chief’s Bar around 10:45 p.m., and witnesses saw him carry a chair to the edge, hurl it over, then laugh about it. The roof-bar sits six stories above Broadway.
Two Metro Nashville Police Department officers were below on Broadway and said the chair hit just three feet away from them, according to the affidavit. Officers spoke with staff at the bar, as well as witnesses and reviewed surveillance footage all of which supported 3 alleged actions, according to the Affidavit.

It was just after 12:30 a.m. When police arrested Wallen and booked him, he was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment to one charge disorderly conduct–a misdemeanor. He posted a $15,250 bond and was released from Davidson County jail around 3:30 a.m.
Here is the full statement from Wallen’s attorney Worrick Robinson regarding the singer’s arrest:
“Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville at 10:53 p.m. on Sunday. He is being fully cooperative with authorities in this matter.”
Owned by fellow country music star Eric Church in partnership with his cousin Luke Chaney, Chief’s Bar had its grand opening just over the past few days. (Understandably busy in preparation for the big event, there were rumors that both men would head to Giuliano’s tonight.) That would bring Station Inn on leave for a couple of weeks as Steve and Travis are also required here.
Wallen is due in court May 3, which is Day 2 of his three-day stand at Nissan Stadium.
